Hello!

I’m Tasmin Franssen—a qualified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Journaling Coach living in the beautiful country of Ireland.

My journey into mental health advocacy and therapy is deeply personal. Having experienced anxiety and depression myself, I know how overwhelming it can feel. Working with a therapist during my own struggles was life-changing, inspiring me to dedicate my career to helping others find their way through similar challenges.

In 2016, I proudly completed my training and earned my qualification as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Since then, I’ve been passionately focused on supporting individuals on their journey toward well-being and personal growth.

Two years ago, I took an exciting new step in my career by branching out as a Journaling Coach and combining it with my therapy practice. Journaling has always been a powerful tool in my own healing journey, and I wanted to share its transformative benefits with others. This led me to create Being of Mind, a space where cognitive behavioral techniques and intentional journaling come together to help people manage their mental health, reduce stress, and reconnect with themselves.

The Being of Mind Method

I created the Being of Mind Method because I saw a gap in the mental health space.

So many people want to feel better, think more clearly, and manage stress, but therapy isn’t always accessible or the right fit at the moment. On the other hand, journaling is something many turn to, yet often it can feel aimless or like it’s not really helping.

That’s where the Being of Mind Method comes in.

This unique approach—developed specially for the Being of Mind community—blends gentle CBT tools with meaningful journaling practices to help you feel more grounded, calm, and connected. It’s designed to bring structure and purpose to your journaling, while still leaving space for creativity and self-expression.

Whether you’re in a busy season of life, looking for emotional clarity, or simply seeking a more intentional way to care for your mental wellbeing, my method offers a self-paced, supportive way to do just that—one thoughtful page at a time.

You’re welcome here, just as you are.

My areas of expertise include helping people manage anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, OCD, and navigating the complexities of grief. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and empowering clients to rediscover their strengths and resilience.
